The folks at Kenzer were kind enough to send these 2 items to me as well as the Midnight's Terror Adventure (reviwed on this board elsewhere):
D&D: In The Shadow of Dragons comic:
I Love it! I picked up the first issue when it came out, but as I am on a very tight budget, I hadda cancel my subscription service (ComicsNow.com if you need a great service!) so I could afford 3e stuff
If you like fantasy comics, give it a try. A all around well plotted and drawn comic.
Hackmaster Hacklopedia of Beasts Vol IV:
I don't play Hackmaster, but If I had the cash and a group of Nostalgic ganmers, I would snatch it up. As it is, I really have no use for Hackmaster. Regardless of this fact, I enjoyed reading thru this "Monter Manual" very much! I love three things about it:
1) The art is very reminiscent of of 1e and early 2e art, while being a step up from those eras of D&D. Wonderful!
2) The AKA line of the monsters... these are great!
3) The Yield section! OMG, this is the best! WoTC needs to add this to all of their monsters
All in all, I liked the Hacklopedia, and I may use some of the yields for my campaign, but, obviously, it is mainly only useful fro Hackmaster GM's.
