The Thousand Orcs Will Be First In Series Devoted Entirely To Signature Character Drizzt Do'Urden
September 23, 2002 (RENTON, Wash.) - This October, New York Times best-selling author R.A. Salvatore brings one of the greatest heroes in the fantasy fiction genre to the front lines in The Thousand Orcs, book one of The Hunter's Blades trilogy. The Thousand Orcs (MSRP $25.95) is the beginning of the newest fantasy series devoted entirely to Drizzt Do'Urden and set in the wildly popular Forgotten Realms® world. This exciting new epic launches nationwide on October 15, 2002 with both book release and coinciding author tour.
Nearly a decade ago, R.A. Salvatore's acclaimed Dark Elf trilogy introduced legions of fans to Drizzt Do'Urden, now his signature character and whose popularity has driven Salvatore's last seven hardcover titles to New York Times best-seller status.
