Too bad you can't awaken Candlesticks and Teapots. They're much more inconspicuous and can actually kick some ass when there's good enough reason to.

No, but the wizard can get animate objects and maybe I can get them permanent. Forget playing D&D, I'm switching to Disney d20!! :D

Sweet. Actually you could just play a Sorcerer and take the "Familiar Construct" feat. Then you could make a miniature clock to be your familiar. Give him Perfect Two Weapon Fighting and a little hat and he'll be sliding off banisters and slicing foes into oblivion.

No, I'd go with the candle stick and then get a second familiar and make him a tiny fire elemental. Then just get some magical candles and you're set.

That sounds kind of munchkin. Let's try and keep this within the realm of what's realistic, please.

It's realistic. In the Dragon about familiars there is a feat called Extra Familiar. There are options for getting an elental familiar in many different books. And there are a few magical candles in the DMG, or you can go the route of the candle guy from T&B.

Munchkin, please. This is Disney, not Oz. :D

Its too late, I've already lost all respect for you as a gamer. Obviously someone who min/maxes to the point of epic flamestriking candlestick familiars simply plays the game to "win". What a disgrace, you probably don't even have a black trenchcoat and a beard.

You had respect for me? How interesting.

Does two days of stuble a beard make? And I do havea black trenchcoat, I use it hide my sword Highlander style.
