Byrons_Ghost said:Grappling her would also require her to make a Concentration check for the SLA, same as a spell. And it would open someone up to a level-draining touch attack. Still, it might be worth it.![]()
Byrons_Ghost said:Depending on how easy it is for you to buy magic items, you might want to look into some dimensional shackles, which are manacles with a dimensional anchor effect. They're pricey, but would be exactly what you need for a long capture. Someone might even be able to put the shackles on when she's still inside the circle, depending on the DM's call (sounds like a Balance check to me).
Byrons_Ghost said:Whatever you do, my advice would that you NOT do it at your father's farm, or any other safe haven you have, or anywhere that you can be easily located. In situations like this, you have to plan for the worst- ie, that she will get away and inform the queen. And you don't want them coming after your family to find you guys.
The best place would be in the city or near the hideout of a mutal enemy- say, if there's a kingdom that is traditionally a rival of the queen's. Then she can assume they're helping you, and hopefully hurt her resources going after you, even though you've since moved on. In fact, if you do this, it might be useful to let the succubus escape, without being too obvious about it of course.
