The prelaunch KS is now active!

Don't forget to sign up when you want to know when this goes live (July 1 so far, but may be sooner). What is Twilight Fables?

A 5e supplement bringing the original folklore and European mythology into the 5e game. Be warned, the original lore was dark and often disturbing, so reader discretion is advised.

“It’s probably Matt Mercer’s fault.”
If it’s anything like I’m imagining, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. (Which probably means it’s something else entirely…)

Guess what I got? Granted, it’s just an initial proof meant to judge the quality of a color POD book and to see how the images print in color, but it’s still the first actual copy of the book
😊
. Check out how meaty it is compared to Tasha’s.

As for quality, I think POD will do just fine even though I’d prefer a large offset glossy paper print run. I do need to lighten up some photos, but there is no issue with bleed through to the other side of the page. The important thing here, as far as KS goes, is that if you back this project, you know you're getting your book in a timely fashion since it's already done :)

Forget Tasha's. Your book is pretty beefy even compared to that Axis & Allies box off to the side!
I guess I should have cleared out the space lol. I don't normally do videos, and I certainly wasn't doing a professional book reveal here lol. Maybe I need to really start practicing on Premiere and have one of those made for the official release...

Today I went to the Countless Stones close to my home. They are a Neolithic burial site and get their name from the random distribution of the stones and a tendency to lose count if one tries to tally them. “ did I count that one or not?”
Local legend says that a baker from the nearby village of Aylesford decided to solve the question by taking a full basket of bread rolls to the site and counting each bread roll as he placed it on a stone. When each stone had a bread roll, he would know the number.
Soon, his basket was empty and stones still stood without bread rolls upon them. Mystified, he turned around and was horrified to see the Devil following his footsteps and eating each bread roll as he placed it down.

Your book looks awesome. Good luck!

Oh my! Looks like I'll be adding a bread wight* into my next adventure!

* not to be confused with wight bread.
