Prestige for Pali/Cleric

It would help if you give us some background...about your campaign, if it's a homebrew setting or pre-made one, your character. etc.

we're just using the generic campaign from the phb. My character is a level 1/1 Palidan Cleric. im looking ahead to find a nice flavoursome prestige class. I was thinking about something along the lines of a stone themed one, with bonus's to attack and skills and stuff when standing on certain ground, but i can't flesh out the idea. hmmm.

Don't do the PrC thing unless you know what kind of flavor you're shooting for. For paladins it's unnecessary, since the class by itself gets some nifty abilities that scale very nicely (consider Monte Cook's Book of Hallowed Might; its variant paladin is very nice).

BTW, why did you multi-class paladin/cleric? If you advance as a cleric, you can no longer advance as a paladin. Or is your DM waiving that restriction?

Yeah I agree if you want to flavor your paladin, better off using exalted feats from BoVD or the Complete Warrior.

Pr-classes...aren't always necessary.

So what you're a Heriounous guy then?

Stonelord from CW sounds like what you're looking for. It's dwarf only, alternates between stone-related abilities (like stone tell, meld, stone shape) and a shopping list of abilities that you can tailor to your PC, like channeling the power of earth to enhance your strikes, summoning an progressively more powerful elemental, allowing you to maximize 1 spell per day, creating a semi real flanking buddy, etc.

It's a martial class though; no spellcasting progression.

The Paragon, from Heroes of High Favor: Dwarves (by BadAxe Games) is a neat PrC for dwarven paladins. It's intended for Fighter/Paladins, but with a little DM leniency it could be made to work for a Clr/Pal, too.

Warpriest, from Defenders of the Faith, is a good standby. Although you will need to re-work it for 3.5 rules.

Several of the PrC's from Book of Exalted Deeds would work, such as Fist of Raziel or Annointed Knight.
