I will first translate the whole priest rules in Italian, because my group has serious problems with eng....american! I already started to do it and realized that writing here daily, and studying in the same time French very intensively, gave me the impression that i have not a mother language anymore....

Anyway, i will start from the end, so we'll have no "doubles" domains

I'm not sure I like the spontaneous casting of domain spells. I think that domains were developed on the assumption of one domain spell of each level per day. That's why many cool spells from other lists were added to the cleric's abilities.

However, if clerics can cast these spells not only many times per day, but spontaneously as well, then the original holders of the spell are being a bit diminished. I'd be worried about a cleric casting things like Cone of Cold all the time with spontaneous spells.

Finally, spontaneous domain spells instead of curing tends to diminish the team aspect of the priest.

Only the Wizard would be dimished, and that's only if he has acces to the same spells. I think it would allow the Wizard to select other spells knowing that the Priest could cast cone of cold for instance.

How does getting rid of sponataious healing diminish the team aspect of the priest? They can still heal, it just isn't their focus. That's one of the reasons for the change, to change the focus. Many types of priests do not make as much sense always being able to cast healing spontaniously. I feel that that is a crutch of the cleric class.

I'm going to sit down and do a final once over either later today or tommorrow. I just want to clear the head and then take a look over the draft and fix spelling, grammer type errors as well as look at the everything in relation to each other. But we are in the home stretch. We'd be finished if I wasn't a perfectionist.
