Why is that, die_kluge? I played quite a lot (never getting any good at it mind you) and I could see the appeal. Now that they have intriduced new land (and new housing space) I can understand why it's still alive...

And hey, you can MAKE money playing that game :)

I was more of an Everquest slut. Never played UO. I tried Beta-testing it, and was never able to get in. And then they released it, and I said to myself "damn, that game has quite a few bugs for it to be released", and sure enough, there were scads of problems. I had a friend that played it, and eventually quite because he could never find anything to kill.

I suppose nowadays, it might actually be playable since tons of people have likely quit.

I would actually play Everquest again, but I'm fairly certain my wife would divorce me. :)

I never truly liked it, but I DID play it 30-40 hours a week for some time.

Lately (well, not that much) they introduced Neon clothes. Man that looked stupid ("the goggles do nothing!").

Anyways, UO and EQ will always be immensily inferior to D&D, no?
