problem posting polls

I've noticed when posting polls that when you hit the 'submit new thread' button the thread gets posted, but you still haven't added your poll options. So the poll appears as a thread w/o the poll attached until you add the poll.

Any way to fix this?

I noticed this too. Once I got pulled away from my computer after posting the thread but before posting the poll. There was at least one amused response wondering where the poll was.

Generally, the delay will only be a few minutes as you write up the options.
