Is the board set to log you out after just a few minutes of inactivity?
Today I keep getting logged out after about 3 minutes. It seems to happen specifically when I am writing up something to post.
Make sure you've checked off the "remember me" box next to where you enter username and password when you log in. That's tripped up some people before. If that doesn't fix things, you might need an admin to help.
