Problems With Grapple?

Anyone have a source online to read the Pathfinder system of grapple? Also is it simple and balanced enough to replace 3.5 rules?

I personally hate the system and it slows the game down so much. I plan on taking feats for my current game to avoid at all costs being grappled because I don't want to deal with it.

Combat - Pathfinder_OGC

That's the combat maneuver system (very nice unified mechanic for combat maneuvers), and if you scroll down, you'll see the grappling rules. I'll let you decide if they're better or not :)

EDIT: Ninja'd

On a Grapple I add my Size BAB and my Str Mod. Can I instead use my Dex mod if I have weapon finesse or Wis if I have Intuitive Attack?

EDIT: Also if you have uncanny dodge do you still lose your Dex to people other than you're grappling?

If I grapple and have knock down I can trip possibly trip someone with my grapple damage and they'll be prone for this while I'm standing?

EDIT 2: If a monk has Improved Unarmed Strike then would a grapple or trip provoke AOO's since you're using an unarmed attack to do the action?

How does grappling work with the actions you're allowed? Can you do a full attack action? Can you Flurry if you're a monk?

EDIT Also if someone without Improved Unarmed Strike attacks unarmed during a grapple do they provoke an AoO?

As written, if you take a "full attack action" in a grapple, you get one "grapple action" per 5 points of BAB (2 at +6, 3 at +11, 4 at +16). Again, as written, NOTHING can modify this number, not Haste, not Flurry, not having natural weapons, nothing, since none of these abilities state that they give you extra "grapple actions". You may opt not to make a grapple action, and instead do something that takes a standard action (cast a spell, move the grapple). I don't think there is anything you can do in a grapple that only takes a move action though.

Attacking with an UAS in a grapple would not provoke from the other person, since when you are in a grapple, you do not threaten. If you aren't threatened, you could even dance around with your willy hanging out and nobody gets an AoO. AoOs only occur if you do something that provokes while threatened.
