Okay, since the inception of D&D 3e / d20, more than 1000 character classes have been published, and we don't even count amateur work found everywhere on the Internet. NONETHELESS, I propose some (useless) community work here. Lets come me up with even more classes, but give us extreme concepts with weird (yet evocative) names. For any genre from D&D medieval to d20 Future sci-fi... (Inspiration from other games or existing classes is allowed, provided it becomes weird enough.) I will begin:
-- Techno-Wizard. Not an artificer, this character emulates futuristic technological items with magic and spells. This character doesn't create wands of frost only usable by mages for example, but strange ray-guns that require ranged attacks and freeze the targets to death and are usable by anybody.
-- Bio-Syntha Cyborg. This characters gets bio-engineered replacements of various body parts, which are bio-synthetic cybernetics enhancing the character's abilities and giving him almost supernatural powers. The character's powers are not as if from implanted technological equipment, but become part of his (super)natural abilities.
-- Tiger Psi-Mage. These warriors are inducted into the cult of Sharkaan the Tiger-Spirit, receiving some of His mystical blood and thus a portion of His power. They thus become weretigers with all manner of psi-magical powers like the "distant claw of death" or "mighty roar of fear".
Okay, whose next?
