Pseudo-Ceramic DM for an ENnies nominee!

Dagnabit! When I posted the competition looked nice and small. Now we've got at least 5 stories, and a few hours yet to go. Things may be tough. I have a feeling my story may not stand up well in against the like of Rodrigo and Reveal, in particular. But at least today I get to read everybody else's stories.

And if it wasn't clear in my story, I had a great time writing it, and I apologize to anybody who shows up in some way or form in the story (Crothian, Monte Cook, a reference to AlSih2o, and of course Abe Lincoln). I couldn't resist turning Monte into a villian, but I really have no hard feelings against him, I've never even met him, but I'm sure he's a great guy (and I like a lot of his work).

I am afraid that Monte suffers a bit of humiliation in my story, actually quite a bit. All in good fun though. I look forward to reading everyone's tonight after work.

He's got a gnome on his head. How could he not suffer a bit of humiliation? ;)

I wonder if he's going to read these stories, anyway. :uhoh:

Considering the pictures, I'm glad everyone has gone with a "silly story" theme, even if some were a little more serious than others. :)

I agree Macbeth, every one else's entries seem so much better than mine.

(Are we allowed to edit? I thought of a couple of things I should have clarified a bit. :))

And you thought the competition looked small, there was only one entry in the mini's contest, but I would have entered...if I had found it before the deadline. There's a freebie if ever there were one.

Nope, assuming we're sticking by Ceramic DM rules. No editing. :) Makes it all the tougher. I always find at least one hole/typo/whatever that I wanted to fix right AFTER i post. So it goes.

Yup. Spelling and grammar do count, as it should. :)

I usually look over my stuff 2 or 3 times before posting and I still usually end up making a mistake or two... or three.

Yeah, Alsih2o is a stickler about the no editing rule. Even if he didn't mention it, I would assume it still remains.

Wednesday night I was at work until after 2:00 AM. That burned my Wednesday night game and killed all my creative energy. I won't have a story. Though Eeralai has been thinking of writing a story. She might have one to post.

Well, if she's going to post, I'd recommend doing it soon. If I got my times right, the deadline is about 17 minutes away...

I hope she does. I saw in the current CDM people wanted her to join. I'd love to see what all the hubbub was about. :)
