Psichic Warrior turned War Mind... wtf?

Say I've got a 15th level psychic warrior, who then goes War Mind at 16th. At 15th, PW's maximum power level is 5th. When he takes the level of War Mind, he gains a power, but the maximum power level is now 1? Is this a correct reading of the rules?

As a Psychic Warrior/War Mind, you keep two seperate lists of powers known; a psychic warrior list, and a war mind list. Each has its own caps on the highest level powers known.

I may be wrong about this, but I believe that power points from all different sources are pooled together, so your Psychic Warrior PP and your Warmind PP can be used to manifest powers from either list.

Yes. War Mind and Psychic Warrior powers are two separate things, even though they draw from the same list.

(Edit: I got scooped! But yes as well to the fact that power points are one big pool usable for for manifesting any class's powers.

No worry, you're right.

Yup - war mind isn't intended as a prestige class for a previous manifester, really. It's more intended for someone like a soulknife or a monk / etc that has Wild Talent.
