Psychometabolism Powers

Well, i'm pretty sure that I know how all these things work, but i wanna be certain.

Can yo take Weapon Focus(Claws) or weapon focus(bite) in relation to the powers? Or for that matter, other feats?

Which natural weapons do you deal half-str bonus damage with and which do you deal full with? Do they work like real natural weapons at all?

Could a psion/psychic warrior take multi-weapon fighting and multi-dexterity in conjuntion with these powers? The multi-attack wouldn't work, so what would they use if they wanted to attack with all of them?

Does the damage scale with the manifester (small deals 1d8 with claws of the bear, 2d6 with bite of the tiger)?

Are they treated as weapons for the purposes of powers that enhance weapons? (metaphysical weapon)

Sorry, these might have been covered elsewhere, but I don't have access to search, and I don't wanna go through 7 biliion posts...

what I do know (i think) ... you can take weapon focus (claws or bite), and even take weapon specialization (6th lvl psywar).

not sure about multi attacks, but you can use iterative attacks. For example: my Dwarf Psychic Warrior has claws of the vampire, at lvl 8 he can make two attacks at +9/+4 for 1d8+3 (str bonus).

I think the sage or bruceCordell recommended that you use ambi and twf for the psionic claw/bite stuff. ... if I also had bite of the tiger and ambi/twf I could make 3 attacks 2 claws (or bites) +7/+2 and then one bite (or claw) +7 ...

as for dmg I would let that character use full str bonus (like a monk with flurry, rather than half for off-hand, and full for primary hand).

that's all I got.

Yes.

On your turn, you designate which will be your main weapon; the other/rest will only inflict half strength damage

I don't know for sure, but it sounds reasonable.

No it doesn't. Just like Flame Blade doesn't.

No, they are treated as natural attacks so you need Magic Fang or something like that.

No problem. By the way, what do you think of this quote from a reply from Bruce Cordell:

Yes, to all. The section on page 38 attempts to address this issue, though it
doesn't provide examples, as you have. As you note, the powers are not as great
as they are if you can't use the extra attacks as an off-hand attack (and the
rules for same, in the PHB).

This is being discussed at www.montecook.com in the Psionics Forum. Bruce Cordell, on occasion, visits that board.

He said "at first blush" that it's reasonable to use Multiattack. I dont' see why an egoist should have to take two feats and Dex 15+ just to use Bite powers, but that's just me.

The whole email is quoted there.
