Combat Reflexes, Overchannel, Talented

Combat Focus, Combat Stability, Combat Vigor

Your ability scores are incredible. You almost cannot fail. The feats above should make you a pretty tough combatant with the Psychic Warrior abilities.

Hanging in there. Better than the alternative.
With a reach weapon? There are very few WotC feats for reach weapons--only one, I believe, in the PHB2, for example. If you can use Dragon Compendium (by Paizo), that'll give you a bunch more options.

Just what does "Any WotC" mean? Because there's some material from their website articles "The Mind's Eye" that would probably be good for this kind of build.

Also, you want to wield a polearm, but do you want to focus on battlefield control, damage, or soaking up damage?

Ranseur is a trip polearm. Were you considering Improved Trip? You've got the ability scores to make it work.

maybe

A player in my game has a human PsiWar 2/ Mk 2/ Ftr x build with a Glaive. His build was to get Whirlwind attack. His 2 psi powers are Shield and Expansion. He unarmed attacks those in 10', Glaives those at 15-20' to awesome effect. He loses some of his monk abilities cuz he's wearing armor (mithril full plate), but he really just wanted all the extra monk feats/ unarmed attack. Even at 5th level (this guy is 8th) you'd have an insane amount of feats. 1 human, 2 levels, 2 psi war, 3 monk, 1 fighter. BAB would only be +3 at the moment, but hey, you have awesome stats and if your other levels are Fighter for BAB and Wpn Sp tward Wpn Supremacy... not too shabby. He also grabbed the Standstill feat, he's used that quite well too, along with Combat Reflexes.

One possibility at least,
good luck have fun!

I guess my vagueness is due to my ignorance on the subject...

I meant any books, including "splat" books like CW, CA, and the like...

And I'd like to focus more on battlefield control. There are 2 spell-slingers, and 2 ranged attack specialists, a rogue, cleric, and only one other melee "tank" in my party and i want to be a line of defense between the mages and the enemies.

Ignorance isn't all that blissful here... I know dangerously little about tripping and such, and dont really know if its a good way to go.

Most psionic builds with polearms use StandStill. Get a dwarf. And use Expansion ;)

Tell him the whole feat list if you're going to tease him like that! :p

It's Stand Still, Hold the Line, Combat Reflexes.

The point is that any time someone enters your threatened area, you get an AOO, and you can use it to prevent them from moving any further. You are basically an impassable road block as long as you can hit their touch AC. Meanwhile, archers or mages are on the other side blasting them and they have no way of retaliating.

Actually, you only get the AoO from Hold the Line when someone charges into a threatened square, not just anytime they enter one. If they didn't charge, then there's no AoO, and you have to wait for them to exit a square to get an AoO.
