Well,
I've had Ptolus: Monte Cook's City by the Spire for a few weeks now and I just had to say that it is, perhaps, the coolest single RPG book I've ever own.

The quality is well beyond anything out there and it's HUGE! Not only is it HUGE, but it's so well referenced and cross-referenced that I almost feel like I'm studying for a course in college.
Anyhow, the Player's Guide for it is a free download, plus there are PDFs for it coming out over the next few months, but if you've not seen one of these books, then call around to the FLGS and see if they have a copy on hand.
While I wouldn't recommend that a player buy the book, anyone wanting to DM an Urban Fantasy campaign with an Epic scope could easily do so with Ptolus.
Monte has easily outdone himself with this magnum opus.
