I've never heart "rtfm" that was in the glossary before.

As Ender said, it's used by many who are asked stuff about computers and other pieces of technology, specifically if it's something you can easily look up, but instead of even bothering with the manual that comes with the device, people try it themselves, don't get it, and go pester someone who knows about computers.

And sometimes, if you are disturbed on sunday afternoon because the phone rings, and someone wants to know whether the on/off switch will turn off the blender if you use it again, you blurt "RTFM".

You actually say "RTFM" as a spoken abbreviation?

I heard it being used. It's not that bad. Especially since it's meant to be code and usually not to be understood by those who are told to RTFM.

As long as you don't say "lol", it's okay. :p

Yeah, I got that critique on another board too. Lets face it though, DnD is a predominantly male game. But the author only had my group to work with, and wasn't exposed to any other groups in our area, some of which have females.

My weekly D&D game is 40% female.

Here's hoping your group has 5 or 10 players!

Me, I'm always shocked by the number of former- and closet-gamers I run into. I think there are lot more out there that want to hide from the 'dork' label. Anything that reduces that, or makes it more acceptable, is a good thing.
