I think we've had this same argument a dozen time sin the past on these same forums, with a number of the same people rehashing the same statements.

I for one would prefer if this thread didn't turn into another one of them.

The reality is that an average PDF product only sells a hundred or so copies, so any additional copies sold by another unauthorized party is an impact on the total sales figures. I'm not claiming a 1 to 1 impact, but I'm also not claiming a zero impact.

The rhetoric between these two extremes, in my opinion, isn't worth arguing over once again.

...and with the insults and belittling comments piled on top of the same piracy-justification BS arguments, *plonk* goes my Ignore List.

Edit: ...and you're right, Jason. It's not worth arguing over again.

I hope i'm not giving the impression of saying that the impact is zero, i'm just trying to drill a hole through a thick skull that the impact isn't 1 to 1.

*wonders if a certain someone considers calling ones argument ridiculous isn't condecending*

*also wonders if that same someone would accept legal distribution of his ogc without an argument*

Illegal = evil
legal = good

But hey, i'm veering of the discussion....

OK, that's enough. Cergorach, it's your rudeness to other posters that got this thread closed.
