Putting a word as a URL link?

Even easier: highlight the word in your reply and hit the link button (looks like a little globe with a chain link on it). Type the url in the box that pops up, and the WYSIWYG editor will show the text as a hyperlink.

OK, now I'm curious. I don't see this link button anywhere -- what am I missing?

It worked. Thanks for the lesson.

haiiro, you might be using the "Quick Reply" box, which has limited features. Try clicking on the "post reply" button for access to more features.

It has to be enabled in your User CP Options. Find the button that says "Show Enhanced (WYSIWYG) Toolbar" and enable it.

Welcome to a whole new world!

FYI: It works in standard mode also. :)

I rejected that world and I don't remember why... Oh yeah the text I was always coping came up yellow already and I had to cut and past from notepad or change it in the improved interface.

Sometimes for me new is not improved, but I can understand your affection for it. :)
