Q: Could a Barbarian rogue both rage and sneak attack at the same time?

One question I couldn't find a solid answer to, and I am hoping some of the rules masters here can help me.

A Barbarian 3 / Rogue 3 decides to rage in a battle. One of his allies manages to flank the Barb/Rogue's opponent. Does the Raging barbarian, BY THE RULES, get his sneak attack bonus on his flanked opponent?

If so, I have a fantastic concept for a half-orc Barbarian/Rogue/Ranger/Tempest... :)

Yes. Sneak Attack doesn't require concentration, thus it is not interfered with by raging. Here's a Sage reply on this as well.

Just one question to end an argument.
Can you use Sneak Attack while Raging?

Yes. You can't use any ability that requires concentration when raging, but sneak attack doesn't require concentration, just the ability and the opportunity to use it.

Another yes vote. If sneak attack relies on being able to hit the right part of your enemy to maximize damage, so do feats like point blank shot and specialization (as implied by the 30' rule). Since you can still use specialization and pb shot while raging, you can still use sneak attack.

jester, that's the best explanation ive heard - i always had a problem deciding whether it made sense or not & that just did it.
