Q. Rogue/Fighter Nudity?

>Someone above mentioned our DM Screen. The culture that the >image represents - like many Earth cultures, folks - does not >require that its women cover their breasts. It is, honestly, as >simple as that.

Okay, you got me, I dug through my books and am starting at my DM screen like it just asked me for a glass of water, but I am still not seeing a topless woman...

I think I got a defective copy, can I return it and get one with a topless woman on it? :)

*chuckles* You freak.

I should have been clearer - the book that came with it. In the chapter on the Races of Ghelspad, there is a topless wood elven woman depicted.

Now go and ogle the book like a good gamer. *pat*pat*

The only I might ogle is Drendari...though Denev and Idra come pretty DARN close! ;) Why I like the Divine and the Defeated. Btw, JD, slightly off topic, but who do you think would win a fight (using avatars and the new rules from Deities and Demi-gods [at least for the GH god] Vangal or Ethynrul? * I know who I am picking...* :D

This thread is such illogical nonsense that it boggles the mind that it has carried on so far. I am proud to be an American, but this kind of puritan thinking is what brings us down. A little nudity in art is not the downfall of civilization (which, as some believe, occured centuries ago, but that is story for another time). If a person is having fits over an artistic rendering of a body, maybe it is time to take up a safe game like dominoes or checkers.

Oh. That. Yeah, I saw that.

Good linework, it even looks good at 200% size.

Erm, I've heard somewhere...

Hehehe this is sooo funny!

People are having a coniption fit about depictions of the nude form when the genre as a whole condones murder of other lifeforms.

Do people shout out that there are obvious references to rape (yes perhaps some 1/2 come from caring families but let's be honest)?

Does anyone really doubt the affection towards sayings like "Ale and Whores!"?

If you don't like it go back to your puritan ways and leave us perverts alone.

There are real life outfits that let you see a lady's nipples, and they are worn to go grocery shopping.

Women have nipples, it's a normal part of their anatomy. Catching sight of them will not make you blind or drive you into paroxyms of lust.

If near or full public nudity were a part of our daily lives, this sort of thing would rouse no comment at all.

Of course we wouldn't comment. We'd be way too busy at the grocery store!

This is taken from my own review of the TQR.

"The art is mostly good but nothing great or anything standing out. I do not like the art by Reynaldo Bastista. His work belongs in an x-rated comic book."

The reason I stated this is because I thought his artwork wasn't good. I didn't care that they were of half-naked women. I just got the impression that they were included in the book is because of the nudity factor. It should of been because it was a good piece of artwork. Which it wasn't.

Oy...

My wife used to work at a grocery store and she had some stories of what people wore... or didn't... then again, the store was also across the street from a large gym...

I wouldn't be looking at that grocery store, though... my wife would kill me... ;)
