Question about old 2nd ed "Priests" coming back as Prestige Classes.

... or around July at the most, anyway.

Too late - it is already posted. Anyone who is interested, feel free to comment (like I need to say that!) But the stat stuff isn't up there yet for 3E - it is a good start.

What about a 3.5e version of the Needle of Mielikki?

Hey all,

If anyone has converted Mielikki's specialty priests, specifically the Needles (rangers), I'd greatly appreciate the information! Lacking a better way, I took the Divine Champion PrC and made slight mods for specialty priests of Mielikki and Tempus (Battleguards). For a while, I figured this would work for all of the old specialty priests, but now, with the plethora of PrCs available, I'm not so sure anymore. Ideas are welcome, of course!

Sweet water and light laughter until next.

I checked Faiths & Avatars. Needles are rangers with a couple extra spheres to choose from. Her druid specialty priests aren't much different from regular druids. And her druid/ranger specialty priests are covered by existing multi-class rules. None of them have special powers that require creating a PrC.

There are PrCs for at least the following FR "specialty priest" types:

Arachne (Lolth, Faiths & Pantheons)
Darkmask (Vhaeraun, Lords of Darkness)
Dreadmaster (Bane, F&P)
Dweomerkeeper (Mystra, Complete Divine web enhancement)
Green Warder (Thard Harr, Faiths of Faerun)
Hammer of Moradin (Player's Guide to Faerun, more a paladin than priest PrC)
Heartwarder (Sune, F&P)
Justiciar (Tyr, PGtF)
Maiden of Pain (Loviatar, PGtF)
Morninglord of Lathander (PGtF)
Nightcloak (Shar, F&P)
Scourge Maiden (Loviatar, Shining South)
Silverstar (Selune, F&P)
Stormlord (Talos, F&P)
Strifeleader (Cyric, F&P)
Sword Dancer (Eilistraee, F&P)
Talontar Blightlord (Talona, Unapproachable East)
Techsmith (Gond, F&P)
Waveservant (Umberlee, F&P)

There are almost certainly more that I've missed, as well as multiclass combinations (Fighter/Cleric for Godseye of Helm, Wizard/Cleric for Magistrati of Azuth, etc.) detailed in Faiths of Faerun and elsewhere. It's also easy enough to adapt non-FR PrCs and classes to an FR game.
