Question About Quick Draw Feat?

As a partial action, you may take a partial charge, which is the same as a regular charge except that you can't move as far. In a partial charge you can move up to your speed; a regular charge lets you move double your speed.

Re: Charge During Surprise Round?

Is this true? Drawing a weapon aside, charging and attacking is a standard action not a partial, right?

A partial charge is a completely separate action.

Hmm, when I said charge and was talking about a partial round, I kind of assumed y'all could make the logical leap to assume I was talking about a partial charge. I apologize for the over-estimation of intellect; won't happen again.

Ok, so it's only really useful for full round attacks.

Can you use it for items other than weapons, like potions, scrolls and wands. How about a shield?

Isn't the prereq. a +1 BAB anyway? If that is the case I'm still not sure what the point of this one is.

If it only lets you draw weapons during the full attack option, I just don't see the point.

It lets you draw a weapon whenever you want: Drop the necromancer with your first attack & switch to a mace for his skeletal minions. It's nessessery to use throwing weapons once you get iteritive attacks (unlike ammo, throwing weapons are not a fre action to draw). Also for people who use reach weapons it'll be nessessery to switch back to a melee weapon at some points.
