Question about Sword & Fist

Well, in my experience, a lot of people seem to almost ignore posts that gets low on the first page, and the higher up it is, the more likely a person is to answer. I am anxiously trying to figure out this blasted formula, and I thought someone had possibly already figured it out, and so I keep it up top to get the answer.

I REALLY wanna know.

Okay, I figured it out, although it still makes no sense.

Okay, Tordeks damage with a Dwarven Waraxe +2 is 1d10+9, Tordek is Level 10.

The book arrives at an average (counting criticals) damage of 15.95 no matter what AC the target is.

They have 5.5 (die roll) + 9 (damage mod) + (14.5 x 3) / 30 (crit mod). How that formula makes any sense is beyond me. Why do you use the average crit damage divided by 30 to get the average added damage of a crit regardless of AC?

Also, the keen weapon has it divided by 15 instead of 30.
