Do they lead into each other or does one have to create the lead between them? Or neither?

Murder in Baldur's Gate and Legacy of the Crystal Shard are stand-alone, although I adjusted Legacy so the same characters went through both.
Scourge of the Sword Coast directly leads into Dead in Thay.
Cheers!
Now that I've seen all 4 for a future campaign I would do:
Start with Legacy of the Crystal shard which takes them to 3rd.
Then do Scourge of the Sword Coast as they follow the coastal road past Waterdeep.
They finish at 5th.
The continue south as the locals prepare for Dead in Thay and do a 'right-sized' Murder in Baldur's Gate where the leaders are competent NPCs and the party feels like they should be saving the town.
Then head back up to Daggerford as the area is prepared for the assault. Do Dead in Thay starting at 6th or 7th.
My plan is to do a mash-up of Ghosts of Dragonspear Castle, Scourge of the Sword Coast, and Dead in Thay
We're doing that now. But if I use them again, I'd go with the other plan.
