Well I basically decided against Outsider pretty early since they aren't extraplanar. They're just aliens. I didn't pick Aberration either, though, because their anatomy is the same as a humans save for the obvious. Also, the lack of supernatural abilities kinda dismisses it as a good Outsider.

I'd say they're of the "why are you watching a children's show?" kind.

Ah, the Mark of the Noob . . .

Only someone who knows absolutely nothing about the subject would ever call Dragonball Z a "children's show" despite the fact that there are more adults who watch it than children.

No, that's because DBZ actually WAS a children's show when first released in Japan.

Neither--they're Outsiders.

Or, if you don't admit to that, make'em humanoids. A tail, a curse, and outrageous ability adjustments doesn't make them a monstrous humanoid.

Hmm... and the more I think about it, the more I think that they SHOULD be Humanoids. Boring, 1-HD humanoids--with at least +10 strength and a slew of racial abilities, making them at least +4 level adjustment, probably more.

I would say humanoid, if only for vision consistancy. Both giants and monsterous humanoids have darkvision which saiyan's don't. They also have "few supernatural or extraordinary abilities"... the Oozaru transformation being the only one (SS would count too, but not all of them can get that. Their base size is medium, which also fits with most humanoids.

I'm trying to do some serious work here. The sarcasm and the lack of seriousness is not appreciated.

Have you contacted the owners of DBZ? Do you have their explicit permission to create a DBZ-d20 conversion?

If not, it's a fan work--one that you can't even release under the OGL.

(Personally, I think it'd be a fun conversion to attempt, and I hope you're enjoying the effort--but without the owner's explict (not implicit, they have to actually say "yes, you can do that"), this is just a for-fun fan work.)

Giants only havelow-light vistion, actually. That's what I ended up going with in the end because the description of giants fit Saiyans perfectly. All about humanoid shaped creatures with great strength and all.

I never said I was planning on publishing anything nor did I ever say I was trying to get money for this. That doesn't mean that I can't consider this serious work. I'm trying to make a true and good and accurate conversion of Saiyans, that's all.
