questions about "Seeking" weapon enhancement

Seeking does not counter Blink

The miss chance for Blink is because the target is not there to be hit. Seeking causes the missle to veer into the target, however for Blink the target is not there.

That was my original, 'presumptive' position as well.

The position is NOT, however, supported by the wording of the Seeking enhancement.

So it looks like mirror image and firing into a grapple are unaffected. I can hit a concealed, blinking, displaced, blurred or invisible target infallibly (granted I target the right square).
Not infallibly - AC should still apply normally, as there isn't anything in the description saying it doesn't apply.

How does

Quote:
Seeking: Only ranged weapons can have the seeking ability. The weapon veers toward its target, negating any miss chances that would otherwise apply, such as from concealment. (The wielder still has to aim the weapon at the right square. Arrows mistakenly shot into an empty space, for example, do not veer and hit invisible enemies, even if they are nearby.)

imply that the weapon will jump dimensional boundaries and strike someone that isn't there?

Why, this part - "The weapon veers toward its target, negating any miss chances that would otherwise apply" - does.

Concealment is merely one such miss chance among a myriad of miss chances.

Blink states that "physical attacks against you have a 50% miss chance."

Is it a miss chance? Yes.
Does Seeking negate miss chances? Yes.
Therefore, Seeking negates Blink.

Pretty simple, really. ;)

If it said it negated concealment, it would allow sneak attacks against concealed targets but do nothing against blinking targets. But it negates "any miss chances that would otherwise apply." That seems clear that it would work against a blinking target, who benefits from a 50% miss chance.
