Questions about Stargate Atlantis

I've been catching up on Stargate SG-1 via DVD. I've just finished season 5. If I watch Stargate Atlantis does it have spoilers that will ruin seasons 6 and/or 7 of SG-1 for me?

Have you enjoyed Stargate Atlantis so far?

Does anyone know if and when SciFi is going to repeat the episodes of Stargate Atlantis and SG-1 (season 8)?

Episodes are repeating now. We'll be up to the fourth(I believe) of episode of each next Friday...

They are repeating the episodes every friday night. I think we got the second episode of each in the season last night (the ones after the opner 2 parters).

So far I haven't seen anything on Altantis that would spoil much of anything of the regular Stargate.

Other than the very first episode (1st hour of 2 hours) where they actually leave for Atlantis (I won't go into details). There is abosolutely nothing in SG-Atlantis that would spoil anything in SG-1 that I can think of. Even watching the first episode, if you skip the "Previously on SG-1" intro minutes there is not much too much given away other than some cast changes that you may or may not know about already. If you are worried at all you can skip it safely since 90% of the Atlantis concepts are reintroduced in the first few episodes episodes of Atlantis anway.
