Questions that came up in our last session...

Hey, yesterday our group had a session and we had a bunch of q's that popped up and confused us. If you can help, we'd appreciate it.

1. Can a creature be ethereal AND invisible at the same time while attacking someone? And what if this creature is attacked by a ghost touch weapon....does it get rid of the invis chance to miss as well?

2. Can people run around corners? (In D&D) or is it a max of x2 movement?

3. Can the Bow of True Arrows (in S&F i think) be fired more than once a round using its true strike ability? It does not have a limit and we aren't sure if this is the case.

Thanks in advance

1.
I do not know exactly if a Ghost Touch weapon ignores chance to miss from being Invisible but I would venture a guess that it does not. Only for being Ethernal

2.
No, you can not run around a corner(unless you can with a DC) unless you have the Fleet of Foot feat from Song & Silence.

3.No real clue, other than you could allow it, but personally I wouldnt allow it mroe than once a round.

1. Yes, creatures can absolutley be invisible and ethereal at the same time. Ghost Touch weapons allow hits on incorporeal creatures, not ethereal ones. Threfore it would be useful against undead like wraiths/spectres and arcanists in Ghostform (from T&B) but not against ethereal creatures (like Blink, Ethereal Jaunt, etc.). Also, Ghost Touch weapons don't help you against invisible opponents.

2. You must run in a straight line. Another feat that lets you run around corners is Psionic Charge from the Psi Handbook.

3. Bow of True Arrows requires a standard action each round to activate the True Strike ability. So unless a character is hasted, he can only fire arrow(s) once every other round.

3. No, the bow requires spell activation, which requires a standard action. You also need to have True Strike on your spell list to use it. So, unless you are hasted, you would activate the bow on round 1, and fire one shot at +20 on round 2.

Think of it as a bow with a wand of true strike taped onto it, and you won't be far off.
