Hey everyone!

So here goes my questions :

1) I know this has been asked before, but I can't remember the outcome. Basicly, can Far Shot be used with a Whip?

2) If a Rogue using an elemental dagger (like a Flaming Dagger or an Icy Dagger) performed a sneak attack, would the sneak damage be of that type? Would a Rogue with an Icy Dagger do Cold sneak attack damage? I ask mostly because of the Wizard/Rogue spell sneak attack rules.

3) Finally do weapons enhanced by the Speed attribute give an extra attack at your highest possible BAB or at your highest that round? If I normally get +7/+2 and +5/+0 when using Rapid Shot, would I get +7/+5/+0 or +5/+5/+0 when using a weapon of Speed?

Thanks for any answers you guys have. :D

1. No. Far Shot doubles the range increment, but not the maximum range.
2. No. Only the elemental damage is of that type - a flaming dagger normally deals 1d4 normal damage and 1d6 fire damage; a Rog3 wioth Str 12 deals 1d4+2d6+1 normal damage and 1d6 fire damage.
3) Highest that round: +5/+5/+0

3.) To look at it another way, Speed gives you an attack at your highest base BAB, but modifiers (such as the -2 from Rapid Shot) still apply to it. So +5/+5/+0 is correct.

+1 more for the +1 minimum enhancement bonus. :D

#2 sneak attack provides extra damage of the type inflicted so if the attack was wholly of one type, such as cold damage for ray of frost, then the sneak attack damage is of the same type.

I'm not sure if it is clear what the damage is for mixed damage type attacks. Since flaming and Icy are "add on" damage to base damage it is probably reasonable to say the SA is based off the slashing damage. With mixed damage type spells it could be mixed, or only one type, I don't think there is a rule addressing this.
