Quick dumb spell question

also for psions,

if a spell has a target of: Touch, can a spell caster use it on their self?

The reason I ask I was looking through the Psi HB and I saw a spell that said Target: Self or creature touched (or something along those lines).

Check Invisibility in the PHB. Same thing.

Some spells have a range of "Touch", some have "Personal or Touch". While this ordinarily makes no difference, it's important for things like Persistent Spell, which work on a spell with range Personal, but not Touch...
