(Quick Request) Name of a Magic Maul

Deodand, in the original sense of something forfeited or given to God because it caused someone's death. The idea is that the maul isn't a possession of the character, per se, but an object in use by the character, though it actually belongs to someone else (perhaps a deity or church, for example). Then again, this is a bit too reminiscent of demodand, the D&Dization of Vance's deodand creature.

Other name ideas:
  • Barrister
  • Trial (as in trial by ordeal, trial by fire, trial by combat, etc.)
  • Fas Est (Latin for "it is lawful")--though a bit to close to fascist
  • Mercy ("Are you asking for Mercy?")
  • Order of the Court
  • Jurisprudence

Well it might be a little stolen.. but how about Objection!
It's the Maul of Phoenix Wright? (Actually, that sounds pretty cool...)

For some reason I can't quite adequately describe, I recently introduced a +2 sonic shocking burst maul originally crafted by the God of Cooking, but used for decades by gladiators into my campaign.

It's name? Late for Dinner. And yes, when the sonic shocking burst goes off it sounds like a literally ear-splitting dinner bell.

Heh. I would have called it Tenderizer.
