Quoted Text running off the right side of the screen

I noticed while perusing this thread that several of the quotes are dropping all or part of a single letter along the right border/side of the post.

The specific posts are #13 (drops the 'e' from 'be' on the second line of the 2nd quoted text); #15 (part of the second 't' of 'that' at the end of the first line of the third paragraph); and #19 (part of the letter 'a' in that word).

If it matters I'm using IE at 1024x768 on a Windoze machine running 2000Pro (of COURSE I'm at work! :D ).

Anyone know how to fix that? Or is that just a "feature" of the new boards? :p

Thanks.

I don't see what you're seeing, so I'm mystified as to the cause. I'm guessing it's browser specific - what *version* of IE are you running?

Might be. The Admins have alot of stuff locked out, even on individual office systems (as opposed to the ones used by multiple people).

Anyway, the Version Number according to Properties is: 5.51.4807.2300

I'll check and see when I get home if I notice the same thing on my Mac (though that's also IE 5.something, IIRC).

Anyway, not a biggee. It just caught my eye and I know you're all looking for little and not-so-little things with the new setup.

Thanks!

Ok, there's the problem. IE 5.x has a small glitch with italic text running under table boundaries. There's nothing I can do on this end short of changing the postbits to include extra pad space (which would be a real pain in the tail).

NO!

I mean, please don't go to all that trouble. It's not a big deal (to me anyway). If it's IE5 then so be it. I'm sure you have lots of other important (and hopefully more fun!) things to do with your time. I just wanted to point it out in case it was something to do with the new boards. IIRC, the old version actually indented quoted text on both the left and right sides, so I never spotted this before. Of course, there's a very likely chance it I'm remembering wrong, it was there all the time, and I just never spotted it before, too! :p

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question!
