"Excellent" Removing his armor and finding a place to lay "Just great", Eating some rations, Valan will sleep till awakened

 

[Dungannon]

The first watch with Gideon passes uneventfully, the only disturbance a pair of coyotes yapping & howling off to the south. The sorcerer quietly wakes Valan, telling the cleric it's his turn to stand watch. Nothing much happens for Valan, either, as he keeps a wary eye and ear open.

About an hour into Valan's shift, however, something catches his interest. Sounds, faint but unmistakable, coming from up the road toward Ravensdale. Valan turns his full attention that direction, and he can now make out what appears to be wavering torchlight about a quarter mile away. As the cleric takes a few steps toward the disturbance, and away from his snoring companions, the sounds also become clearer, they are the sounds of combat.

It only take him a moment to decide his course. Grabbing his weapon and sheild, Valan delivers wakes up Tor with a forceful nudge of his boot. "Tor! Wake the others, somethings up!." Trusting it Tor's natural jumpiness to spur him to action, Valan moves quickly toward the action.
Excersizing cation only when he can confirm whats going on

 

[Patlin]

Jumping to his feat, Tor grabs his chain. Starting it swinging in both hands before he's even fully awake, it takes him a moment to register the source of Valan's alarm. He nudges eah of his companions in turn.

"Sounds of battle! This may be our chance to catch the criminals we pursue in the act!"

 

[Roger]

Ragnikyr rolls over, rubs his eyes, yawns, stretches. He takes his weapons and his lute and follows the rest of the gang to the disturbance.

Tor has little in the way of armor, but the studded leather does at least have the advantage of being light enough to sleep in. He follows Valan.

 

[Roger]

Ragnikyr was also sleeping in his light armour.

Being on the road and in search of bandits, Gideon does indeed sleep in his leather armor (light armor).

Groggily, Gideon will get to his feet and belt on his sword. Then he'll snatch up his crossbow and load it while heading towards the sounds of combat.
