R1: Hired Hands (nimisgod judging)

Hopping off BJ and removing his armor, Valan continues to address the group "Allright, If you would, Kerrz, take BJ to the stable's and see if any rumors from the attacks are floating around. Since your not hurt Tor, could you see to selling the gnolls equipment? Red's with me, and it's your choice, Ragnikyr, on where to go."

Valan secures the armor pieces, as they are removed, on to the horse. Straiting the sheild on his back and his holy symbol, a smile crosses his face.

Kerrz takes the reins to BusterJack. "If I'm gonna stable the horse, I suggest you all remove your belongings." Once everyone has removed their equipment from the horse, Kerrz leads him away to a stable located just down the street on the southern side.

As the rest of you look around, you find yourself in what appears to be a merchant district, although not a heavily active one. Immediately inside the wall, on both sides of the street, are two inns. The one on the left is named "New Constantine" and the one on the right is named "Old Gertrude." They are stone structures with domed roofs that are connected by a stone bridge between the inns. Very near the gate is a large sign containing a map of the immediate neighborhood and describing some of the bigger establishments in this quarter of the city. You can see that there is a merchants guild, a bounty hunters guild stop-by, a mages guild, and a handful of other buildings and shops.

"I'll come with you, Valan," says Ragnikyr. "There shouldn't be any problem getting a room for the night, with the stifling effect of the bandits on local traffic."

OOC: We've been adventuring for a full month! Hurrah!

Cheers,
Roger

Valan leans in close to the map "Hopefully they have a temple of Grendath around here, if not I geuss anouther friendly church would do" not really addressing anyone in piticular

If no temples are prevelent on the map he will consider more drastic measures

There are no temples on the map of this quarter, but if you ask any of the locals they tell you that the religious quarter to the north contains churches and temples to most dieties of the land.

Good, good (that is what he was about to do!) Valan obtains instructions from the kind person and follows them to the letter, Ending in the north quater Valan will look for signs of Grendath(the crossed fingers symbol) and asks the others "Could you keep an eye out for this symbol" showing off his holy symbol

Assuming success:
Valan enters the church, going up to the most devout looking follower "Hello fellow worshipper of Grendath, my companions and I were attack on the east road, and While we were victorious, we also were badly hurt. I was hoping to find aid here."

Assuming failure:
A temple of Halina(NG goddess of fertility, agriculture and childbirth) or of Hyrag(NG god of the sun's healing power) would hopefully do well enough

Assuming in takes more than five minutes:
Addressing his compainion "So! What parts do you two hail from?"

"Most recently up from Lathrin", replies Ragnikyr to Valan. "Before that, north of Rivenblight. Just travelling, working as a freelance translator where I could."
