OOC: Sorry about my absence. In the future, if I haven't responded within 2 days, please feel free to NPC my character.

Grimacing in pain and ignoring the webs, Gideon attempts to skewer the spider that bit him by plunging his silvered longsword down through it's body.
1d20+1=18, 1d8+1=7
OOC: If he failed the fort save, there may be some modifiers to the above roll due to poison damage.

Gideon manages to shrug off the effects of the bite and strike back, skewering the spider on the point of his sword and ending its life. Gideon then manages to swap places with Tor despite the webbing around him. Tor steps up and slices through the other spider with his scimitar.
Metrius struggles against the webs but, even with Fimble's help, can't manage to free himself.
end of round one, start of round two
Tor turns around and stabs out at the spider who tried to web him, sending the point of his sword into the soft belly of the attacker.
The spider at the back of the party tries to bite the distracted Metrius but is unable to penetrate the cleric's armor.
ooc: From the original map, Gideon & Tor have swapped squares and spiders 4, 5, &6 are dead. It's Babette's action.

Metrius Escape Artist check = 8.
Tor attack on spider #5 = 24, damage = 8.

Babette stabs frantically at the wounded spider, trying to finish it off.

If S2 dies, she will then either help Gideon out of his webs (if needed) or switch places to get the fighters toward the rear.

I forgot about Tor's cleave attack, which works out since I forgot to adjust Tor's initiative as well. Consider the attack on spider #5 Tor's cleave attack and his initiative is now 5, same as Gideon's.
