I have nothing against gnomes. They're usually too "comic relief" for my tastes, but I don't hate them I just like Dragonborn far, far more. It's like...having the choice between a perfectly decent hamburger, and a lobster and shrimp platter served with roasted vegetables and a baked potato. I have nothing against hamburgers! But lobster and shrimp....

My only real issue at this point is that Humans are still "in the running." It's all in good fun, sure, but Humans inherently warp the chances around themselves. We'll see how it plays out, though, maybe I'll be proven wrong! That would certainly be a fun consequence in this case.

Gnomes are fighting against the oppression of years of statuary-related bigotry. It's not all pointy hats and fishing rods you know.

Rock gnomes are meh but forest gnomes get minor illusion for free (useful) and speak with small animals (useful background info/scouting).

Not as harsh "woah! Wtf just walked in my shop?" as DB and are meant for role playing rather than roll playing.

Gnomes ftw!
