Races of Destiny: Anyone got it?

I have it and like it. I've already updated a few old NPC's with the 'new' half-ogre race (+2 ECL!).

It has a few monstrous races in the other section but nothing too powerful.

The new race, Illuminis(?) is one that actually benefits heavily from multi-classing.

The new PrCs are packed with detail like using them in a cmapaign, organizations and other 'fluff' notes.

Half-Orcs and Half-Elves get one chapter together.

how's that new half-ogre different from the one in Savage Species???????

I'd have to compare them.

Off the top of my head, this new one has no racial hit dice. It's very much like the original one in that it's a big, dumb guy whose very strong. Reminds me of the one from best of Dragon. I'll double check it though as I have Savage Species at home.

How many half races are in this book? Are there any half race templates? I am interested in Bastards & Bloodlines, how well does RoD compare against it?

Could you give me some info about the Loredelver (Illumian only?) PrC?
Moreover, how much Illumians differ from the preview removed from WotC site?

Thank you!

There are no half-templates in the book. You can use Bastards & Bloodlines quite easily with this book and not run into mechanics issues based on what I've read so far.
