Spent about an hour running various Googles...nothing, nada, zilch.
Most of the products available are either direct combat crunchy encounter tables or tied to a module.
What would be nice is a system of tables/cards that allow the DM to customize the potential encounters based on terrain type and population density {both monster and folk}. Throw in happenstance encounter cards such as the 'wagon with broken wheel at the side of the road' type.
Each card would have enough information in case the group decided to pursue it as a plot device... not that any group of mine would ever run after a randomly encountered noble on a horse thinking he is the Vampire lord who terrorizes the townfolk or anything like that
Anyway.. if I had the time, I would make it. Since I don't.. will be willing to buy/playtest!
