Ranged Combat

In the past my characters have alway been melee or spell oriented. This week i'm starting up in a new campaign with a Elven ranger and i'm going to make him Bow oriented. with that i have a question. Do Rapid shot and multi shot stack. In other word can you shot two times with two arrows each for a total of four Arrows? if so what would the penalties look like? Thanks

Manyshot is a Standard action in its own right, and thus cannot be part of a Full Attack action.

Rapid Shot requires you to use the Full Attack action.

Thus, you cannot use both feats in the same round.

Manyshot is good if you need to move (shoot and get cover), are in a surprise round or want to Ready an attack. For all other situations, Rapid Shot will probably be the better of the two to use.
