Ranged Feats

Hey all I'm looking for a feat that would allow a pc to utilize AO's with a bow, I have a player who wants to emulate Legolas and his short game. I tried looking through the few books I own, PHB, DMG, Psions but havn't found anything like this. His pc has point blank shot, precices shot, far shot and is proficient/spec in the longbow. He is a feat monkey and is 6th lvl. I would prefer a book feat but a well made new one will do.

Thanks

But only at quite high levels, e.g. Peerless Archer (from Silvery Marches) at level 8. And she still draws AoO´s when doing so.
The Order of the Bow Initiate (Sword & Fist) can avoid AoO´s at Level 2 and can make a free attack when an allie get´s an AoO once per round at level 6.

IIRC I heard of a PrC in one of the spalt books that allowed you to threat within 20' with your bow. I also heard that it was horribly overpowered and broken. Go figure.

There is an Epic Level feat called Combat Archery that allows you to avoid AoO while firing a bow in combat. Not sure if this is relevant or not.

However, having said that, unless it's strictly prohibitted somewhere in the PH, I'd not be averse to letting a _melee_ archer make AoOs while using an arrow as a _melee_ weapon. In this manner the character would take the -4 non-proficient penalty, and do 1d4 damage as stated in the PH. I would not allow the ability to make a ranged AoO, and as far as I'm aware, there is no such feat. AoOs belong in the _melee_ range, IMHO.
