Ranged Melee Attack

Would there be a Farblade enchantment or the like for weapons. Something that would allow me to make a melee attack from a distance?

The Whirling Blade spell from SC lets you do that. Check it out and then talk to your DM to see if you can have your weapon enchanted to use it a couple of times a day. That's what I gave a PC in my Eberron game and it's worked very well for him.

Dragon #302, page 84, had Extending. Basically allows a weapon to extend or retract 5 feet once per round as a free action, so a non-reach weapon could be come a reach weapon, or vice versa.

I have a homebrew throwing enhancement, but not sure that's what you're looking for.

You could just grab the Throw Anything feat, as well as Brute Throw and Power Throw if you want to use your strength and power attack.

I still recommend the Fling Ally feat for throwing dwarves.
