Ranged Precision and Skirmish damage?

On of my players has a character that has the following feats and abilities:

Skirmish Damage (from Scout)
Precision Damage (from OtBI in Complete Warrior)

Can he move his 30’, then fire one arrow for this?

1d6+2 (+2 shortbow ) + 2d8 (ranged precision) + 3d6 (skirmish damage)

How does this interact with Shot on the Run?

Thanks a lot…. :)

This works because the precision damage is a standard action. The Skirmish damage is if you move more than 10 feet.

Moving 30 feet is your move action and firing the bow is the standard action so you can do that kind of damage!

Yes, of course. The Scout's extra damage is just added on top, if the movement prerequisite is met in the round.

Move + Standard Action (Precision Strike) works.

Shot on the Run, however, requires the Attack Action, and is therefore incompatible with Precision Strike, which is a seperate Standard Action (the Attack Action is also a Standard Action, you can only perform either the one or the other). Skirmish damage applies to Shot on the Run normally, of course.

Bye
