Ok, I have several Questions.
(1)-
Lets say their are 10 goblins that are unaware of the player...
When you cast a spell such as Acid Orb( Acid orb creates one orb for each level of caster, which can target multiple targets) , which is a ranged touch attack and also means you can make a sneak attack when flanking or the enemy is denied their dex bonus, can you make each orb (lets say theirs 10 orbs) attack each goblin (within 30 feet) and get a sneak attack on each goblin for the 10 seperate orbs??? This is considering that their all denied dex, so sneak attack works, and the mage has lets say 2d6 sneak attack.
I know you would have to roll a 20 for each orb to hit the target. According to d20 rules when using a ranged touch attack within 30 ft of a target, it does sneak attack damage if that target is flanked or denied dex just like a rogue's skill.
SO, does anyone know if each goblin would take the sneak attack damage? or just one designated target?
Question (2) - Lets say ur fighting a red dragon (Ancient) with 38 AC. You want to do a ranged touch attack spell to sneak attack. Does the dragon get any negatives to AC? and does the spell ignore the dragons natural AC? Seems like an acid ray would NOT have to penetrate a dragons hide in order to inflict its damage, therefore the +15 (or whatever it is) natural hide AC would be ignored.
Thanks!
