I wish! I would love it if my players stepped foot into a library or consulted sages more often.Agreed. We should have more magical research in our 5e. I assume that's the take-away here.

Seems fine to me.

World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy 14.What game are you folks referring to?
I am, however, hesitant to alter the spell itself to do something like remove concentration or scale the duration both because I don't want the spell to literally be the same as hex, and I also think hunter's mark being "upgraded" should be a ranger's "thing" if anything else.
they are diminutive giants, evolution at work, you never drop out of the order you are in, no matter what features you gain or loosewhat makes a goblin or an orc a giant, how are hyena men giants?
either Concentration on HM needs to go or having class features that rely on HM needs to go.I wish they would really get rid of Hunter's Mark all together. I've loved 5E Rangers since Tasha's came out, but I don't think I have ever had Hunters Mark as a spell in that time (I have had Hex on a Ranger and like that spell).
The one thing I really, really hate about the new class is the mandatory Hunter's Mark.
