Ranger questions

Drakard

First Post
At work at the moment, but have a couple questions about DW with the ranger.

Unarmed attacks are in the Weapons section, and they are under Simple weapons I think...dont have my book with me. Does that classify you as having two weapons, and can you just use your fists with alot of the feats if you want? Because the requirements are two weapons, and unarmed is a type of weapon (curious about that).

Also, alot of the powers will describe the hit and at the end list "two attacks" And later in the description there is a Second attack. Does this mean you have 2 attacks, and its describing the second for you, or do you have 2 of the first attack described and the Secondary attack giving you a total of 3 attacks.

Also also, i might of found something broken. I understand that rangers with a quarry can add the 1d6 (or 1d8) specced dmg to one of their attacks a round. But a rogue gets sneak attack on all of their attacks correct? Well a Rogue/Ranger multiclass could spec for the Daily Ability of the ranger that allows them to keep attacking until the miss (once again at work and dont have my book). Would they just continually get sneak attack bonuses on everything? This seems pretty brutal. Even so, if they didnt, it seems if you are just a ranger with this ability, and you perform a knockdown prior, or anything to give you more advantages and plusses to hit, what is to stop you from just pumling something to death. Do monsters get instant interupts as well, and the DM has to just stop you?

Just some questions

Yeah, you could go for unarmed combat, but you get no proficiency bonus. A typical weapon has +2 or +3.

If it says two attacks you get two attacks. If each attack has got a secondary attack if you hit on the first attack, you might get 4 attacks.

Rogues can sneak attack 1/round, Hunters quarry can be used 1/round.

The ranger power that lets you continue attacking is only broken if you only miss on a 1 and you have an ability that lets you re-roll a missed attack roll. If you miss on a 2 it is just awesome, and if you miss on a 4 its just good power. If you miss on an 6 it is merely ok.

Some monsters have instant interrupts, like the black dragon. Interrupts are called interrupts because they change the "flow" in combat, they don't necessarily interrupt you (stop you from doing what you intend). A typical immediate interrupt lets you do a basic attack for some damage.

And the extra attack provided by an interrupt simulates the added attacks that a solo needs to have to function like a group of enemies.
