Who was the director for that one, Schumacher? Boy, did he do a poor job of getting the best of his actors. When I first heard that Schwarzenegger was cast as Mr. Freeze, I thought, this could be interesting. All Arnie had to do was stick to his Terminator routine, and he would have done great as the emotionless Mr. Freeze. It seemed no one bothered to explain to him that being a super-villain does NOT mean hammy overacting.

My favorite cinematic moment EVER is when they show the security camera footage of Arnie falling into the chemical vat. "Blaaaagh!". Priceless.

I don't think I could even do a top 10, but my favorites, in no particular order are: Spiderman, X-Men, Superman II, Unbreakable, Daredevil (Gawd, I'm such a Marvel Zombie), and, oh, let's say Blade. The "Ice-skate uphill" line was golden.

Yup, starring Helen Slater. I listed it in my somewhat-comprehensive list of super-hero movies. No one listed it among their top 10 choices because, I assume, it was incredibly mediocre.

BTW, there was a rumor a while back that Naomi Watts, the star from The Ring, was up for the role of a new Supergirl. I wouldn't put much stock in it, as I haven't heard anything about a new Supergirl movie in the works.

Or Swamp Thing, for that matter. (let's pretend that the Captain America movies and Fantastic Four movies don't exist...or rather, they shouldn't).

Wow, Superfuzz. So bad, it's really good. Condorman was based, IIRC, on a book called "A Game of X". I've always wondered how much, if anything, that the resembled each other.


No one mentioned the Tick because it wasn't a movie. Not the 'rate the superhero films' in the title.

Hmm, a tough choice here. (note: I only count the first Batman animated film, as the others were straight to video..otherwise I'd include the Justice League movie). I haven't seen Daredevil, so I can't rate it. Some weren't comic characters first (like Remo Williams, Unbreakable, Conan, and so forth). Hey, it's my bias, after all.
