Craer, is it possible to split the group on the grounds that it is too big? Then you could (maybe) arrange the new groups so that you are with the non-troublemakers?
In my experience in a group so large there are probably at least 4 people who feel the same way you do and would be happy to split off and play thier own game with you - try talking to the non-troublemakers and see what they say.
