Rapidshot + Many Shot?

I had a player attempt to do this when he joined my campaign. I remembered him telling me he wasn't a power player when we talked so I didn't think to go through his character with a find tooth comb.

He had picked the combo and told me he got six shots per turn. I let him do it one time for flavor (he was prividing cover fire to the party from high ground) and then looked the rule up. Rapid fire requires a full round action.
Many shot requires a standard action.

By the way he quit the campaign once I told him the combo was illegal.
 


Yeah, he did and it left a real bitter taste in my mouth. I told him one week. The next week he no showed ,and the next week he called and said he didn't want to play anymore. It happens. I just hate the amount of time I wasted helping him with his background. He was one of those guys whom only talked when combat came around. Not a problem, just not the right campaign for him.

Accordingly, he's got enough time in his turn to use Manyshot (standard action) and Rapid Shot (full-round action).
